A small boy, not much more than ten, Alex took a European tour with his father, affectionately called Il Padre, who proudly started a small furniture showroom in New York after emigrating to the United States. Alex marveled at the tiny towns in the Italian Alps where Carrara marble is still cut by hand. It was here that Alex met with the select few remaining master-makers of true Italian furniture, furniture born with the spirito within. Young Alex became truly inspired by and deeply committed to this work.
He fell in love.
Alex fiercely holds a profound respect for the true Italian master, a fierce determination for genuine customization, and a personal mission to continue and expand upon Il Padre's legacy – to make him proud.
